| An M2Assistant network plot uses layers
to plot the various components of a network. The available layers are shown in the
list of layers on the
left of the screen. To plot a layer, just set the check box beside the layer.
Each network element is plotted on its' own layer and each has
its' own set of properties (expressions, fonts, colors etc.). The
network layers include centroids, nodes, links,
transit lines, transit segments, transit
nodes, and turns. Additional layers include matrices
(or desire lines), screenlines, shortest paths, grids, zones,
and cosmetic objects. You may also add external GIS or
picture files that can be plotted along with your EMME/2
network. |

There are many ways to view an EMME/2 network. You can create thematic plots, desire lines, screenline plots, network plots with various colors and line widths, and so on. With the M2Assistant, you can easily save and restore a specific network plot using views. A
view consists of a theme, window and a print box.
See our on-line help
for more
information about this feature.
A few network plot examples are shown below. You may also download
a demonstration version of M2Assistant and create your own network
plots with your EMME/2 database. |
