M2Assistant makes working with EMME/2 matrices even easier. To begin working with a matrix, click the
Matrices button on the toolbar and then select one of the initialized matrices or an ensemble. The selected matrix or ensemble is shown in the matrix table.
Note the various icons beside each matrix or ensemble. The icon beside a matrix indicates whether you are permitted to edit the contents of the matrix. For ensembles, a green icon means that a zone group has been defined for the ensemble. Right-click any matrix in the M2Assistant Bar to display a popup menu with additional options to initialize a new matrix, edit the matrix name or description, save matrix calculations and more. |
You may also enter a matrix calculation in the value combo-box, filter the matrix values that will be displayed, and create a hint expression to display an alternate value as you move the mouse over the matrix cells. You may display the matrix grouped by any ensemble just by selecting an origin or destination ensemble from the pull-down lists. The grouped cells can either be summed or averaged, or you can display the maximum or minimum value in the group.
