M2Assistant

The M2Assistant is a powerful program designed for users of the EMME/2 program who are using EMME/2 under Windows NT/2000/XP.

Using the M2Assistant, you can easily create an EMME/2 database and edit, view and print any network element or matrix from any EMME/2 database (Release 7 or higher). With the M2Assistant, you can:
  • view all network attributes using either a table view or a network plot,
  • create sophisticated 2D or 3D charts from any attribute in the EMME/2 database,
  • zoom, pan, and save views using standard Windows controls,
  • show links with curves instead of just straight lines,
  • add, edit or delete modes or transit vehicles,
  • add, edit or delete centroids, nodes, links, transit lines and segments, and turns,
  • add or delete extra attributes,
  • send any network table directly to an Excel spreadsheet, using a pre-defined template or directly to any spreadsheet,
  • add, edit or delete any matrix,
  • perform matrix calculations and filter matrix values,
  • copy (export) matrix data to an external compact file and recall (import) the data when required,
  • create and edit matrix ensembles,
  • view any matrix using any ensemble,
  • create or edit macros, transcripts or other text files,
  • view EMME/2 annotations,

  • view BMP or JPG files as backgrounds to your EMME/2 network,
  • use the Windows clipboard to copy information to and from an EMME/ database,
  • create thematic maps using any network attribute,
  • create grid, zone, and screenline maps as well as desire line maps.
  • batch print network plots
  • copy plots to the Windows clipboard and paste them directly and easily into any document
