INRO and EMME/2
EMME/2 is a state-of-the-art system for planning the transportation of people on multi-modal networks. It offers the planner a comprehensive and flexible set of tools for demand modelling and analysis, as well as network analysis and evaluation.
EMME/2 features matrix manipulation tools which allow the implementation of a wide variety of travel demand forecasting models; assignment procedures, based on sound theories; interactive calculators, which allow the implementation of evaluation and impact analysis methods; a powerful macro language, for automating repetitive procedures; comprehensive graphic display capabilities; and interactive/graphic network editors.
