An M2Assistant Project File
An M2Assistant project file is a file which maintains additional information about the currently open EMME/2 database. The project file contains such information as the path and filename of the currently selected EMME/2 database, layer settings, expressions, matrix calculations, Excel settings, views settings and grid settings.
When you close an EMME/2 database, you will be prompted whether you wish to save information to an M2Assistant project file. If you do, then information noted above is saved to the file. You can then re-open the project file which in turn opens the EMME/2 database and restores all saved information. This information is automatically saved to the project file when you close the database.
The M2Assistant project file is a text file with an .M2P file extension.
While an EMME/2 database can have more than one associated project file, only one project file can be opened at any one time.
